First Method

This is a simple and pretty straightforward way to recover deleted WhatsApp data. All you only need to do is uninstall WhatsApp and install it back. This would actually use all the backup files. It will ask you to back up from the last 7 days, you need to say ok and your last 7 days backup will be recovered.

Second Method

Whatsapp stores its backup files in phones internal by the name, msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt. Below are the steps to find these backup files for the respective Operating System :

Android Device: 

Go to sdcard – WhatsApp – Databases – msgstore.db.crypt iOS: net.whatsapp.WhatsApp/Documents/ChatStorage.sqlite

Assuming that you have the WhatsApp backup file now, the first thing that you need to do is launch a WhatsApp web service, WhatsApp Recover Messages which would actually get you by going in this whole journey to recover stuff.

Click on the Selected SQLite File, choose the WhatsApp backup file, click on I Accept (only after reading terms) and then on click on Scan button. It would take some moment, depending on your backup file size and your internet speed, and would list all the WhatsApp contents.

Now, click on the appropriate tab to recover the lost WhatsApp data.

By doing these steps, you can easily recover your deleted WhatsApp images and videos very easily, without using any third party apps.
