What is Jailbreaking?

Jailbreaking is (a form of) privilege escalation for the purpose of removing software restrictions imposed by Apple on iOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Jailbreaking grant root access to iOS, which allow downloading (and installation) of additional applications, theme and extension that are unavailable through the official Apple App Store.

Now we will learn how to jailbreak different iOS version in easy step.

How to Jailbreak your iPhone 

Step 01: First you have to back up your iOS device. Head to Settings -> iCloud -> Backup and select on “Back up Now”

Step 02: Disable the passcode on your phone (head to settings -> touch ID & passcode and disable the passcode if you’re using one)

Step 03: Enable the Airplane Mode: swipe up on your screen to open Control Center and tap on the Airplane icon

Step 04: Download Pangu (this is your jailbreak tool). You’ll also need iTunes, so if you don’t have that, install that.

Step 05: Open the Pangu tool once it get downloaded.

Step 06: Plug in your (iOS) device.

Step 07: When your device is recognized by Pangu, select on the “Start” option.

Step 08: Click on “Already Backup”.

Step 09: After a while, you phone will reboot and Pangu will ask you to put your phone back into the Airplane mode. Do that and the software will go on.

Step 10: After a little while later, Pangu will ask you to open the Pangu app on your iPhone’s home screen. Tap on the app, and when prompted, give it access to your photos.

Step 11: You iPhone will reboot 1 more time. Once you reboot, disable Airplane mode, open Cydia, and you’re good to go.

How to Jailbreak your iPhone 

Step 01: Firstly you have to back up your iOS device (Head to Settings -> iCloud -> Backup and select on “Back up Now”)

Step 02: Then, disable the passcode on your device (Head to Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode and disable the passcode if you’re using one)

Step 03: Enable Airplane Mode (swipe up on your screen to open Control Center and tap the airplane icon)

Step 04: Then download Pangu 1.1 (this is your jailbreak tool). You’ll also need iTunes 12, so if you don’t have that, install that now.

Step 05: Open the Pangu tool once it downloads (by right-click to run as administrator on windows).

Step 06: Plug in your iOS device.

Step 07: When your device is recognized by Pangu, select on the “Start Jailbreak” option.

Step 08: Click on “Already Did”.

Step 09: Now, wait for the tool to run. When it’s completed, your iPhone will reboot. You can close Pangu now.

Step 10: Tap on the Cydia icon to prepare the file system. That’s it!

How to Jailbreak your iPhone

Step 01:  Firstly backup your iPhone (or other iDevice).

Step 02: Then download Evasi0n for your operating system (OS X or Windows).

Step 03: Open the Evasi0n app that you downloaded.

Step 04: Connect your PC to your iPhone (or other iDevice). If you have passcode lock enabled, go to the Settings app on your device and temporarily disable it in the General > Passcode Lock section. (You can re-enable it after the jailbreak is complete.) Also, turn on the Airplane mode to prevent any updates or data-driven apps from interfering with the jailbreak process.

Step 05: Back on your computer, click on the Jailbreak button in the Evasi0n app window. It will take a few second to upload some necessary jailbreak data, and your phone should restart during this process. Wait for Evasi0n to complete this step. 

Step 06: As part of the process, Evasi0n installs a short-lived jailbreak app on your device. When completed, it’ll prompt you to open it. Simply unlock your device, and then tap on jailbreak app icon. It’ll cause the screen to flash briefly but come out to do nothing. If you look at your PC, however, you will find the jailbreak process continues. It’ll finish in a minute or so and you can close Evasi0n on your PC. Your device will need to reboot a couple of times, but when you see your lock screen the process is complete. Just navigate to Cydia and love your new jailbreak!

Steps to jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2

How to Jailbreak your iPhone

Step 01: Download Evasi0n in your operating system (Windows, Linux, or Linux).

How to Jailbreak your iPhone

Step 01: Firstly, Download Absynthe and extract the app to your desktop. This should happen for OS X users naturally, but Windows users will need to extract the folder from the ZIP file first. Now plug in your device (there’s no need to enter DFU mode or even turn it off), open the Absynthe app, quit iTunes (if Absynthe doesn’t do it for you), and click on the jailbreak button.

Step 02:  Wait for few second. Your device will go into an unreal restore session and reboot. When it reboots, DO NOT UNPLUG IT OR TOUCH IT. The jailbreak process is not over yet. You will be notified on-screen when absinthe has completed its work. When it’s done, then you can unplug your device from your computer.

Step 03: On your device, find Cydia and open it up to get started with your jailbreak!
